Tso’s Chicken

BATTERED CHICKEN BREAST WITH RIB MEAT IN A ZESTY GINGER SAUCE

General Tso’s Chicken

HEATING DIRECTIONS

KEEP FROZEN - Thawing chicken is not necessary before heating. 

 For food safety and quality, please follow these heating instructions:

OVEN (PREFERRED METHOD):


  • Preheat oven to 400˚F.
  • Thaw unopened sauce packet* in warm water until     completely thawed.  Set aside.
  • Place contents of chicken bag on a baking sheet and heat for 15 to 18 minutes or until crisp and/or golden brown.
  • Place chicken in a bowl and pour thawed sauce over chicken.
  • Using a spatula, mix chicken with sauce until evenly coated.

Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

STOVETOP:


  • Thaw unopened sauce packet* in warm                 water until completely thawed.  Set aside.  
  • Heat 1/4 cup oil in a large skillet and add contents of  chicken bag .
  • Heat chicken for 15 to 18 minutes over Medium Heat 
  • Turn chicken pieces regularly to heat evenly until crisp and/or golden brown.
  • Place chicken in a bowl and pour thawed sauce over chicken.
  • Using a spatula, mix chicken with sauce until evenly coated.

Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

AIR FRYER:


  • Thaw unopened sauce packet* in warm  water until completely thawed.  Set aside.
  • Set Air Fryer temperature to 400˚F.
  • Place contents of chicken bag in the air  fryer basket and heat for 9 to 12 minutes or until crisp and/or golden brown.
  • Place chicken in a bowl and pour thawed sauce over chicken.
  • Using a spatula, mix chicken with sauce until evenly coated.

Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
